A competition for independent Latvian electronic music producers, run by KINETIC with Radio NABA and Erica Synths. Each edition, a jury picks ten finalists from new, unreleased techno and close-to-techno tracks — and KINETIC records releases them.
To motivate independent electronic music producers in Latvia and shine a spotlight on them, KINETIC — in collaboration with Radio NABA and Latvian instrument maker Erica Synths — organised the FILTRS competition for the second year in a row. Only Latvian producers with new, previously unreleased work in techno or close-to-techno genres could enter.
From the 47 entries submitted, the Latvian jury selected 10 finalists, which were then put to the audience and an international jury.

FILTRS collects the 10 finalists of the Latvian electronic music producer contest Filtrs, created to mark the 19th anniversary of underground radio station NABA.
Produced by DJ 2B, host of the techno music radio show KINETIC, in close collaboration with Erica Synths. Merch and the FILTRS vinyl are available on Bandcamp.
